Ten Stupid Things Board Members Do to Mess Up Their Organizations

Consultant Illene Roggensack will give tips for more effective board participation by trustees and Friends. Encourage your board members and Friends to attend this lively, interactive session!
Join the Instructional Technology faculty at Georgia Southern for a lively presentation of technology trends and tools to watch based on The Horizon Report, k-12.
We are gathering our presentation links and resources at our session wiki.
Most of us enjoy a happy ending. Something like:
Librarian gets hired.
Librarian upsets the Director and is given book drop duty as an "opportunity".
Librarian saves Director's assets, and becomes the new Director (in waiting).
At the Friday, October 9th at 8am COMO Meeting of the GLA School Division, there
is a happy ending story - a lemons-to-lemonade kind of tale,
replete with students not aware that they are yearning to learn,
a media specialist yearning for a little quiet in the classroom,
and an administration that discovers that teaching Research is a good idea.
Also, Dr. Judi Repman from Georgia Southern University will report on last week's
7th Annual Georgia Conference on Information Literacy held in Savannah.
And, reporting on the AASL Learning4Life Conference held in Chicago last July
including the book resources distributed to the participants, such as
Standards for the 21st-Century Learner in Action (isbn 978-0-8389-8507-6).
